How to Delete TagPiG Tags

If you would like to delete tags from one post, perhaps one you might just have tagged, you can do it this way:

In the Post Tags section on the bottom right of your blog post wp-admin page (i.e. where you edit the post), you will see the TagPiG tags listed.

You can simply hit the little ‘x’ icon next to the tag you want to delete, and it will disappear.

If you would like to delete all TagPiG Tags from your entire blog then you can do it this way:

Top right of your blog post admin/edit page, you will see the section ‘Posts’. Listed in that section is Post Tags.

Select Post Tags and you will see a new interface. On the right of your screen will be all of TagPiG’s tags listed. If you tick the ‘Name’ box, you can use the ‘Bulk Actions’ toggle to delete the tags page by page, 25 at a time.

If you had hundreds of posts and thousands of tags and you wanted to remove ALL the tags, you could use our free tool, NukePiG, to delete all tags – but they would all go, not just the TagPiG tags. You can download NukePiG from your BlogPiG member’s page – just use it with extreme caution and heed the warnings it pops up before you hit delete!
