In addition to adding keyword rich tags to your post TagPiG can automatically create and maintain an intelligent internal linking structure for your blog. TagPiG analyses your post’s content for words or phrases that already occur in the tag database.

If any matching tags are found the word/phrase is automatically linked inside the content of the post to an aggregated tag page containing all posts that contain the common tag.

This is a very powerful linking technique giving your blog highly targeted anchor text links and the best part is that it is 100% automated.

The real power of this technique comes from the fact that the links appear ‘in context’ i.e. the search engines get to index the link and the words surrounding the link.

Auto Link Tags : You can decide whether or not TagPiG automatically adds common tag links within your blog posts. Simply select YES to activate this feature.

Match Tag Case : By default TagPiG wil ignore the case of words in your blog post when looking for matches in the tag database. In some cases you may wish to force TagPiG to match the case of words. An example of where this feature could prove useful is if your posts contain a lot of names or acronyms. Simply select YES to activate this feature. Removed

No-Follow All Tags : Does exactly what it says and adds a no-follow attribute to al you internal tag links. I set this to no on my sites.

Min Tag Frequency : You can control how many occurrences of a tag must appear in the tag database before any links are created within the content area of the blog post. The default setting is 5 which we’ve found is about right and gives a good amount of content on the aggregated tag pages. Have a play with the settings to see what value works for you.

Minimum Words per Linked Tag: Doesn’t link any tags shorter than N words in post content.

Maximum Links per Tag : Use this setting to choose the maximum number of times any particular tag can be linked inside a single post. 1-2 is a good setting to try out.

Maximum Links per Post : Here you can control the total number of links that can appear within a post, this prevents your post content breaking down because too many tags are linked within the content. 5 is good setting to try here.

Never Link These Words: Filter to prevent auto linking tags.
